Q: What subject do you teach?

A: Science

Q: Why did you decide to teach this subject?

A: because it was the most interesting subject to me

Q: What drove you to pursue teaching?

A: I wanted to be the teacher that I did not have.

Q: What college did you attend?


Q: If you could teach any other subject what would it be and why?

A: I don’t ́t care to teach anything other than science

Q: Where did you grow up and what were the living conditions?

A: Mechanicsville, small town (used to be like NK), tri-level house

Q: Is there anything you wish you could teach but can’t teach?

A: No

Q: Do you enjoy being a teacher and why?

A: Absolutely!  I love my babies 🙂

Q: Is being book-smart the only way you can succeed in life?

A: No!!!

Q: What’s the worst thing about the school system today?

A: I plead the fifth

Q: What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened in your class?

A: Me dancing 

Q: Do you think being a teacher would affect parenting

A: I don’t ́t know how parents have enough patience and energy to also be teachers

Q: What’s the hardest thing about being a teacher?

A: Not getting paid what we deserve

Q: What is your favorite grade level?

A: middle school

Q: If you could have any job besides a teacher what would it be?

A: Stay at home cat mom

Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?


Q: Who is one person you have looked up to your whole life?

A: My mom

Q: What is your biggest fear?

A: Losing the people I love

Q: What is the worst experience you have had with a student?

A: I almost got punched in the face by an 8th grade boy

A: Students talking while I’m talking
